ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY UPDATE
The city is in the midst of reviewing its Economic Development Strategy, which outlines a work plan that the City can undertake to strengthen and diversify its economy. The existing plan, approved in 1999, provides a multifaceted approach to business retention and attraction by addressing the need to maintain the city's existing retail base, adding more diversity to the economy, and ensuring that Citrus Heights is an attractive, healthy community where business owners, workers, and their families want to live.
